Blog Series Part 1 - Intro
Hello… This is the first in a series of blogs I plan on posting regularly (fingers crossed). The first topic I will cover is my use of Veeam, how/why we started using it, and what we are doing with it now. I will also plan to discuss business continuity/disaster recovery, our virtual infrastructure including, UCSX, storage, backups, and vSphere. The purpose of these are not to be super technical but just to share how we over came small challenges and improved our processes and environment. Let me start by introducing myself… My name is Eric Kubla and I’ve been in IT for 24 years, and I’ve been with my current employer for 15+ years and the last 6 as the IT Server Manager.
